Creative Arts in Therapy

Georgia Neurobehavioral Associates offers multiple ways to meet the diverse need of each client. Uniquely, through the use of Creative Arts in Therapy (e.g. painting, drawing, collage, writing and storytelling) along with Talk Therapy, we can help children, adolescents and adults express emotions, self-regulate feelings, and learn ways to manage Anxiety, ADHD/Behavioral Concerns, and Trauma.  The use of experiential/expressive art in therapy offers clients a powerful way to bring emotions and issues into a tangible and visible form for self-awareness and change.  Creative Arts in therapy has research to support it's use in helping individuals recognize their blocks, move to change, growth, and healing.  Our clinician, Dian Stevenson, MA LPC has over 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents and women.  No prior art experience is necessary.
