Dr. Jack Talley

Dr. Talley has over 35 years of experience working with youth and adults with mental health needs. His previous positions in schools (27 years), required him to develop academic and behavioral interventions and to analyze system wide data to assist local schools with their intervention efforts. Previously, Dr. Talley ran an independent private practice for 12 years, treating and assessing a wide array of mental health conditions, to include treating children and adolescents with PTSD.

Dr. Talley’s graduate work at Georgia State University included intensive training in neuropsychological assessment. His dissertation was the basis for the Children’s Auditory Learning Test-2. He is also co-author for the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test Manual, Revised and Expanded.

While having a wide range of training and experience, Dr. Talley’s current focus is on evaluating and treating veterans with PTSD. As Dr. Talley and his wife are “blue star” parents, they are very thankful for their daughter's and son-in-law's safe return after multiple tours in the Middle East. In the past 3 years Dr. Talley has received updated training in PTSD from Star Behavioral Health Services, Veterans Evaluation Services, and Critical Incidence Stress Management. Dr. Talley is credentialed in EMDR, an advanced, research based treatment for PTSD.
